Supervision

Supervision

I provide supervision for qualified counsellors and therapists, offering a supportive space for you to reflect on your client work and professional development. My approach is collaborative, focusing on creating a safe environment where you can explore challenges, celebrate successes, and grow in your practice.

How Supervision Works

Clinical supervision provides a confidential, structured professional relationship. It allows you to reflect on all aspects of the counselling relationship and any other factors that may impact your work.

The primary aim of supervision is to help you develop and enhance your skills, knowledge, and ethical judgment, empowering you to manage your casework with greater effectiveness.

Why Supervision is Essential

Ethical bodies such as the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy (BACP) require all counsellors—whether trainees or qualified professionals—to maintain regular supervision. This is because supervision is a core component of ensuring safe, ethical, and effective practice throughout a practitioner's career.

My Approach as a Supervisor

As a qualified supervisor, I draw on my extensive experience as an integrative counsellor in private practice and through my work with Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP). My background includes roles in health and social care, as well as in a drug and alcohol agency.

I work exclusively with adults (18+) and have experience a wide range of issues, including:

• Anxiety and Depression

• Trauma

• Burnout

• Relationship Issues

• Low Self-Esteem

I am qualified to provide supervision for both in-person and online/remote work.

Introduction call

Before booking a paid session, you are welcome to schedule a free, 20-minute introductory call via telephone or online, with no obligation to continue. This is a great opportunity for us to briefly discuss what you are looking for in therapy and for you to ask any questions about how I work.

To arrange a call, please contact me directly. Please note that I do not offer in-person introductory consultations; they are conducted exclusively by telephone or online. All subsequent sessions are paid.

Face-to-Face Supervision

For those who prefer a dedicated, confidential space, I offer in-person supervision sessions at my office in Weymouth, Dorset.

• Session Length: Each session is 60 or 90 minutes long.

• Accessibility: The office building is secure with CCTV. It has a bathroom available and is wheelchair accessible.

• Parking: Free on-site parking is available. As the car park can be very busy during the day, I recommend arriving a few minutes early to ensure you find a space, as parking is subject to availability.

Online Supervision

For those who prefer the convenience of an online space, I offer supervision sessions via Google Meet.

• Session Length: Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes long.

• How it Works: We will meet in a secure online room. You'll receive a private meeting link via email before your scheduled session.

All appointments are subject to availability.

• On Saturdays, I offer online sessions only until 2 p.m.
